About Us
We build stronger community through social dance. We explore the relationship between tradition and innovation. We teach history and perpetuate culture in a fun and interactive way. We support live music.

NOLA Jitterbugs Initiative, Inc. is a non-profit organization registered with the State of Louisiana (501c3 status pending) dedicated to the preservation of traditional jazz dances, dance history, and dance culture within the community through the union of live music and social dance in a wide range of forums, as promoted through public workshops and festivals, educational venues, and other collaborative community health and wellness initiatives.
