NOLA Jitterbugs' Dance School is open year around to people of all ages. We are working hard to create an educational program that not only teaches us to dance but keeps us in touch with our history and culture.

Registration is now open for the Winter Quarter. Classes are held Mondays and Tuesdays in the upstairs room of the Maison, 508 Frenchmen Street.

If you are a complete beginner, please start with Intro To Swing (partner dance), Traditional Jazz (solo dance), or Blues Dance (think, tango-esque). Learning to social dance can be compared to learning a language or playing an instrument. This 11-week course is designed to give you the basics and is a prerequisite for Lindy Hop & Balboa Swing.
